FAQ

When can I expect my order to be ready?
I require at least 5 days to source ingredients and prepare the components of my baked goods. I’m a one-woman bakery, so it takes time for me to prepare your order with care!

How do I care for my cakes/ cupcakes?
Keep the cake out of direct sunlight so the icing doesn’t melt. If you plan to eat it more than a few hours after delivery/pick up, store it in the fridge and take it out 30 minutes before serving, so the cake can come to room-temp and will be soft and fluffy. Cakes stay fresh for 4 days, but if you want to save some leftovers, refrigerate for up to a week or freeze the slices (after tightly wrapping in some plastic wrap) for a longer shelf life.

Do you bake eggless cakes?
All of my cake flavors can be made without eggs, just let me know in your order details! That being said, I do bake with eggs for other orders, so I cannot guarantee a completely egg-free kitchen.

Can you bake me a vegan/ gluten-free cake?
I don’t bake vegan or gluten-free cakes, but I can recommend other great vegan and gluten free bakers!

Do you deliver?
I deliver orders within the Bay Area and charge a fee according to how far away it is from my bakery!
For orders within a 20 mile radius of my bakery, I require orders to total at least $30. I charge a $10 delivery fee.
For orders between a 21 to 50 mile radius of my bakery, I require orders to total at least $50. I charge a $25 delivery fee.
This is just to ensure I can deliver the baked goods and cover gas + time spent in the car.

There’s flowers on my cake! Are they edible?
I decorate some of my cakes with fresh flowers and they are non-toxic. But they are only meant for decoration purposes!

Do you offer cake tastings?
I charge a $50 tasting fee which includes three different flavors from my menu. If you end up placing an order after that, I deduct that tasting fee from the order’s total! If you want to try more flavors, any additional samples cost $25 each, which are non-refundable.

I ordered chocolates, now how do I store them?
Chocolates should be stored in a cool, dark area away from direct sunlight (otherwise they'll melt). Keeping chocolates in the fridge is not ideal because the fridge could generate moisture within the bonbon.

What if I want to store my chocolate bonbons for months?
Tightly wrap your bonbon box in plastic wrap (or a more eco-friendly alternative) and store in the freezer. A couple hours before you want to eat them, store them in the fridge and then take them out and let them slowly come to room temperature on the counter in a cool place away from direct sunlight. Then enjoy!
